Crochet has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began learning the craft as a child, back in school, and it quickly became one of my greatest passions. As I grew, I immersed myself in the world of art, attending arts and design schools, and exploring various creative fields. I worked as an actress, makeup artist, and fashion designer. In fact, I even launched one of the first online fashion stores in Europe in 2007, well before e-commerce became mainstream. These experiences not only shaped my creativity but also gave me a unique perspective on design, beauty, and business.

In 2017, I moved to Australia, and with this fresh start came a new dream: to continue my creative journey in my new home country. I was determined to get back to my artistic roots and, this time, to build a business around what I loved most—creating art full of color and life. My dream was always to have a small business that I could call my own, doing what I was passionate about.

Fast forward to 2024, and here I am with Mali Bags, living my dream in this beautiful country. I’m now married, with children, and my crochet designs have blossomed into a high-end collection of handmade bags that are more than I could have ever imagined. This business, this life, is everything I’ve hoped for and more.
